The 2017 Sta. Rita Hills Syrah is a deep maroon color with rich purple undertones. Aromas of stewed plums, baking spices, and green pepper greet the nose. Flavors of plum continue across the palate with smashed blackberries, and white pepper. Drink this full-bodied red alongside a lamb shank, grilled eggplant, or a good burger.
