10 Year Old Cask Strength is matured in seasoned oak barrels that are charred before filling to create a vanilla nuttiness to the spirit. Barrier-filtered to remove the small char particles present, but remaining a little cloudy I extremes of temperature, this full bodied whiskey is considered by the Laphroaig distillery as 'the purists choice.' Winner of Gold Medals at the 2013 International Spirits Challenge and the 2013 Beverage Tasting Institute (BTI).
